The Government has approved the types of mine activity and their compliance with the types of economic activity

The Cabinet of Ministers approved an order to approve the list of types of mine activity, bringing them into compliance with the Law on Mine Activity. There will now be eight types of economic activity, each of which corresponds to a separate NACE. Some of them will relate to the types of work in mine activity, the rest - types of production of goods and services in the field of PMD.

“In a few years, we have built a detailed mine system: from creating a humanitarian demining market to the production of domestic equipment and equipment for these needs. Accordingly, the number of areas of activity in the sector and the involved companies increased. That is why bringing the list of economic activity to the Law "On Mine Activities" is a long -term decision, " - said the Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine Igor Bezkavoina.

The order approved the following list of types of mine activity and their compliance with NACEs:

Production of robotic machines and equipment for mineralization, soil preparation and disposal of GNP (28.99);

Production of UAVs with equipment used to inspect contaminated GNP territories (30.30);

Disposal (destruction) of explosive objects (38.22);

Non -technical and technical examination of territories, cleaning of the territory from GNP (39.00);

Certification of operators and processes of mine activity (71.20);

Informing the population about the hazards of GNP and training to prevent GNP -related risks; Inspection of exchanged (purified) territories (74.90);

Preparation, retraining and advanced training of specialists in the field of PMD (85.32);

Assistance to victims of GNP to persons, their rehabilitation (88.99).

Specialists of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine together with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the State Statistics Service worked on the formation of types of mine activity. Changes to the list of economic activity were prepared in accordance with the order of the Prime Minister of Ukraine on paragraph 2 of the minutes of the meeting of the national body on March 20, 2025.
