The first sections at the Agrofirm YUG-M site have passed external quality control
Humanitarian demining operations are ongoing on the lands of Agrofirm YUG-M LLC in Kharkiv Oblast. The total area of the site is 240 hectares, and the first cleared sections have already passed external quality control carried out by specialists from the Demining Quality Inspection Department of the Mine Action Center. This is an important milestone confirming that the completed works meet the established requirements and bringing the land closer to safe use.
The company’s land is heavily contaminated with explosive ordnance. The work of deminers is further complicated by tall vegetation, dense tree lines and the natural concealment of dangerous items, which require maximum attention, precision and endurance.
There is still a lot of work ahead. But the first important stage has already been completed. And, as the SGS team says, “the glass is already half full.”
