SGS Strengthens Its Presence and Coordination Efforts in Kharkiv Region
A SGS Quality Engineer personally took part in the weekly meeting of the Mine Action Coordination Centre working group in Kharkiv and reported on the progress of the company’s demining teams in the region.
SGS representatives usually join these meetings online, as the company’s main office is located in Kyiv. This time, while visiting Kharkiv Region to oversee the quality of the demining teams’ fieldwork, the company representative had the opportunity to meet and speak with the members of the working group in person.
He also noted that the company’s Kharkiv office is currently being developed, and soon SGS representatives will be able to attend the meetings in person on a regular basis. Coordination among all mine action stakeholders helps address the challenges that arise during demining operations more effectively and supports the safe return of land to local communities.
