SGS is finishing demining work for "Agrofirm "Rodnichok" in the Mykolayiv region

Very soon, 50.0 ha of the "Agrofirma "Rodnichok", which is located on the territory of the Mykolaiv region, will be cleaned of the dirt of war.

Several processes of humanitarian demining are applied: technical survey, as well as the Battlefield Area Clearance (BAC) using a metal detector.

On the fields of "Rodnichok" there was intense shelling, artillery and mortar ammunition of various calibers, various cartridges for small arms, shells and other explosive items remained. In addition, the work of sappers was hampered by frequent air raids, power outages and wet soil after rains.

"There were a lot of obstacles, but we did not slow down the pace so that the owners of the land could return to normal existence and work as soon as possible," SGS workers noted.
