SGS experts conducted a mine safety training for young school children in the Gostomel region

SGS conducted an information-educational interactive lesson in a mining hazard in a summer camp for students of grades 1-4.

During the training, the children learned: what shape (shape, color, size) have mines and explosive objects and in what places and areas they can be found. Particular attention was paid to the practical algorithm of actions in dangerous situations. All information is intertwined with interactive tasks, puzzles and competitions.

The lesson was conducted by the head of the SGS information group, who is an experienced certified specialist and including the course "How to Teach Mine Safety", approved by the Ukrainian Institute for Education Development.

"Such lessons are extremely important. Almost a quarter of the territory of Ukraine is potentially contaminated with explosive objects, and children are given great risk. Our task is to explain to them that there is a real danger that it is and how to avoid it. But, with experience, we have realized that information for children should be used in information. quests, riddles and visual examples, ”she said.

At the end of the class, SGS experts always ask that children are sure to be heard to their friends and family to disseminate important information and consolidate knowledge.
