SGS Concludes Mine Risk Awareness Week: Focus on Students and Teachers
Concluding the Mine Risk Awareness Week, Safe Ground Solutions (SGS) conducted a training session for middle school students of Gymnasiums No. 1 and No. 2 in the village of Ozera. The event was also attended by the teaching staff of the educational institutions.
During the session, SGS specialists delivered information in an accessible and interactive format, explaining the risks associated with explosive hazards and the rules of safe behavior. Teachers noted that while they also conduct such lessons themselves, students listen more attentively to and better absorb information from professionals working directly in this field.
Educators also emphasized their intention to adopt SGS’s approaches to delivering such trainings, particularly the interactive methods and techniques used by the team.
SGS highlights that effective risk education for children requires a differentiated approach. Each age group — primary, middle, and high school — needs tailored formats, tools, and teaching methods.
That is why SGS has developed its own proprietary mine risk education programs for all age groups, enabling the effective delivery of critical, life-saving knowledge and fostering a culture of safe behavior from an early age.
