SGS completed a non-technical survey of Mykolaiv Region
Sappers of humanitarian demining SGS have completed a non-technical survey of land plots for the presence of explosive objects with a total area of about 75 hectares, located in Mykolayiv Region, the territory of the Sniguriv city-territorial community of Bashtan district.
SGS specialists carefully and competently conducted the survey. Sappers surveyed the territory with the help of a unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), obtained evidence regarding the probability of contamination of this territory, carried out appropriate marking.
According to the result, the leader of the sapper team evaluated and classified the information about the area according to the danger status. The territory is determined to be contaminated with explosive objects. The information was transferred to the Mine Action Center, whose specialists verified the results of the NTS and placed information about contamination on the IMSMA map. This, in turn, gives the land user the opportunity to participate in the state compensation program for demining in accordance with Resolution No. 284 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 12, 2024.
