Attacks on the energy system of Ukraine once again emphasized the importance of the active position of the international community

The other day, SGS representatives participated in the next meeting of the UN defense cluster at the international level. The issues of renewal of humanitarian coordinations in the fields of GZN, protection of children and mine activity, monetary and volatile assistance in the field of health care, strategic updates of analysis in the field of protection in Ukraine for 2025 were discussed.

Massive blows to Ukraine's energy infrastructure tonight emphasized the importance of response of the international community to an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. Millions of people were left without light, heat and water, especially in winter.

The work of the UN defense cluster of SGS members is vital for millions of Ukrainians in terms of attacks on the energy system. Together with strategic planning, intersector cooperation and regional coordination, we will be able to minimize humanitarian consequences, protect human rights and support the most vulnerable sections of the population in a continuing war.
